Bed&Breakfast "La Barma"

The Bed&Breakfast "La Barma" is a place of peace and tranquility, situated in a villa at an altitude of 1700 metres, at the base of the "Conca di Pila" and about 16 kms from Aosta.

The ski slopes of the well-known ski station of Pila are found only 2 kms drive from the B&B. If you are experienced skiers, you will avoid using the car. Once your ski-boots are laced up and the hooks of the ski locked on, you will go down along the ski track of "Les Fleurs" until the intermediate cableway station of "Plan Praz". This particular ski run passes just in front of the villa, seat of the B&B. From the intermediate cableway station, the cablecar will take you to the main ski zone where you will spend splendid day on perfect battered snow runs.

In summer, a network of trails depart from the B&B "La Barma", to reach the nearby woods, the mountain pastures, the "Lago di Chamolé", the deep valley of Comboé and other touring destinations. You can push up to the "Becca di Nona" or "Monte Emilius" or simply picnic in some meadow of the "Conca di Pila". Those who do not wish to venture in the mountains, can enjoy the park that encircles the villa. 6000 square metres of lawn and hill, a true little paradise, even for little kids.

The villa "La Barma" is surrounded by a range of summits. From Mount Rose to Mount Blanc, one can admire numerous peaks. History lovers, within only 20 minutes car trip, can go down to Aosta also called The Rome of the Alps for the abounding Roman vestiges or else visit the numerous medieval castles of our Valley.

Learn yoga

In certain periods of the year, there is the possibility to follow yoga and meditation courses. They are held by an instructor with several years of experience. The place, by its calmness and beauty is particularly adapted for those who want to practise this noble and ancient discipline.

Learn photography

Private courses of photography, bookings required, are also available. The teacher is a photo-reporter in nature, travel and tourism.
